A Medical Device Project Manager job in San Diego, CA needs to be filled immediately by Adecco Medical and Science. This is a full-time, direct-hire position. The Project Manager supports and assists the Director, Program Management in managing the development of companion diagnostics with external partners which requires involving departmental or cross-functional teams to be focused on the development and delivery of new products.
MEDICAL DEVICE PROJECT MANAGER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitates and coordinates cross-functional team meetings and identifies responsibilities from inception to product launch.
Supports and assists in scheduling, monitoring budget/spending, monitoring and facilitating completion of project team activities and tasks
Assists with the development of project plans and timelines; helps assure that critical deadlines are met.
Coordinates with external partners to help achieve project deliverables and available resources are efficiently utilized.
Accurately conveys very complex information in written and verbal form.
Supports clear communication between internal cross-functional teams and external partners.
Helps keep the teams focused and engaged.
Executes responsibilities per the instructions and guidance of the Director, Program Management and is able to understand complex written and verbal instructions.
Keeps detailed records and project documents accurate and up-to-date; and monitors budget/spending.
Cooperative and respectfully communicates with external and internal customers.
Other duties, as assigned.
Bachelor's degree and 4-6+ years experience as a project manager in Medical Device or IVD product development is required.
Experience working with internal and external collaborators, multiple teams and projects.
Working knowledge of design control and FSA QSR requirements.
PMP certification is a plus.
