Adecco is working with a growing global merchandise distributor that is locally headquartered and expanding their operations. We are hiring for a merchandising assistant to support a key customer and further enable the success of our client.

The role of Merchandising Assistant is to support the apparel & accessory product lines by adhering to seasonal time and action calendars.

Essential Functions:
- Assist in the merchandising and development of seasonal apparel product lines that address brand and consumer expectations.
- Assist in the product development process and requirements based upon seasonal time and action calendar.
- Participate in the review of product for execution, accuracy and approval process including color, garment construction, print & pattern.
- Track, organize, and assist in approval of samples, lab dips, strike-offs and other development materials.
- Determine product photography needs and maintain seasonal library.
- Sale sample initiation, tracking, and distribution to sales team.
- Build familiarity with each key account¿s operational requirements by adhering to product packaging and safety requirements.
- Complete and track all style records through Brand Comply SKU set-ups.
- Prepare seasonal support of Sourced Import Packages and disseminate information throughout the organization as needed.

- BS/BA degree in an apparel and/or textile related field is a plus.
- An eye for color, texture, and pattern.
- Clear, concise and standardized communication in both written and verbal form.
- Ability to handle multiple projects at one time while maintaining adherence to calendar.
- Clear, concise and standardized communication in both written and verbal form.
- Trained in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator.

This is a temp to hire position, 8a-5p Monday - Friday. Background and drug screenings are required for all candidates.
