The Manufacturing Execution
System (MES) Coordinator will:

engineering projects ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and
lead and execute detailed project plans that will lead to improve
performance using standard project management tools (charter, Gantt
capital & expense forecasts for assigned projects. Prepare capital authorization requests
diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and presentations. S/he
translates relevant data/information into broadly understandable terms to
convey risks and provide the means by which project trade off discussions
and decisions may be made
status on assigned projects in various formats to various organizational
effective and efficient use of PE tools (Six Sigma/Lean Mfg) and
techniques to solve opportunities.
the NC and CAPA process by documenting, investigating, conducting root
cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for product
effective engineering and quality systems and adherence to quality system
the Ethicon design control process to all applicable projects.
process validations on new, transferred or modified processes for MES
compliance to the quality policy in all activities.
and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objective of the plant.
cross functional teams during investigations for MES Continuous
for supervising technicians in the Manufacturing Engineering Systems.
responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may
minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. Degree in Engineering, Science
or related discipline is preferred.
in a manufacturing environment and/or medical device industry preferred.
Sigma or Lean certification as Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred.
PC experience and technical documentation writing experience is required.
of Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is preferred.
of Quality Systems (e.g. CAPA, NCR) is required.
of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.
of statistical data analysis tools (e.g. Minitab) preferred.
of FDA, ISO and GMP regulatory requirements required.
in project management preferred.
have excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate
clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization and across
Global Supply Chain plus the ability to function in a team based
manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of information systems
including but not limited to JDE, COGNOS, Maximo, Quality Systems &
Documentation Control Systems is preferred.
- Prior experience with
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software or similar Software and/or ERP solution
packages in manufacturing environments is preferred.
