Global Operations (Global Ops) focuses on creating positive experiences for MetLife customers and helping the company make the best use of its global resources. We’re looking for unique talent with fresh perspectives that can propel innovation. The Governance and Planning team tracks, reports, analyzes, and presents financial and operational information for Life and Annuity product lines.   Our focus is to support decision making and evaluate operational efficiency, staffing needs, productivity, and business trends.   




  • Tracks, analyzes and reports moderate to complex financial and operational metrics information
  • Presents results, analysis and potential solutions to management or senior staff.
  • Performs cost benefit analysis for re-engineering and technology initiatives, identifies expense reduction opportunities, and recommends appropriate staffing levels.
  • Utilize efficient methods of obtaining data from core operational / reporting systems using Qlikview, MS Access, MS Excel or SQL
  • Create various models such as unit cost and staffing models



  • 3-4 years of related work experience
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required. MS Access, Qlikview, Sharepoint and SQL skills preferred
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to present data in a concise and thorough manner.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma Required/ Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
