Manager, Marketing Programs

As part of the Marketing Operations team, the Manager, Marketing Programs will manage B2B digital marketing campaigns from inception through post campaign analysis and summary reporting. This hands-on manager will drive lead generation and operating efficiencies through the digital marketing channels while employing strong project management skills.

  • Manage B2B digital marketing campaigns including: email, website and content marketing, from requirements gathering through campaign setup and execution, campaign optimization and post campaign analysis
  • Build and setup email campaigns in the marketing automation platforms (Eloqua and/or Marketo); review and upload HTML and image files; test and deploy; optimize and report. Manage building of landing pages to support online marketing efforts
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Acquisition and Customer Lifecycle Marketing, IT and Brand, as well as with external agencies, in development of digital marketing campaigns and programs
  • Design campaign testing plans (offer, creative, messaging, segments) and provide analysis and recommendations to continually refine the prospect and client experience
  • Assist in tracking response and conversion to drive marketing efficiencies and effectiveness with focus on generating quality leads in alignment with budget and company goals; Provide recommendations based off of testing results
  • Recommend and implement best practices in desktop, mobile and tablet space with strong knowledge of usability and creating user centric digital experiences
  • Stay ahead of the curve as new technology transforms the digital space and provide recommendations on how best to leverage
  • Use standardized templates and best practices to gather requirements from business users, create detailed design documents and interface with the development teams

  • Hands-on experience working with marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Marketo or similar)
  • Working knowledge of CRM platform and website technology metrics (Adobe Digital Marketing Suite, Google Analytics)
  • Employ strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects and tasks at one time from start to finish
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, work independently and make decisions autonomously
  • Skilled in marketing testing, data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders across the company and facilitate communication between teams
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
  • Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience
  • Ability to manage and foster change
  • Ability to conduct formal presentations to all levels of management on issues or findings in assigned areas or subjects
  • Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to think strategically
  • Highly developed capacity for teamwork and a strong focus on the customer
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint; proficient in other desktop applications
  • Some basic knowledge of HTML for email; Must be comfortable making minor edits to HTML code when required
  • Some basic Photoshop (or similar) knowledge a plus

Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience

Related Work Experience
  • Marketing experience: 6-8 years
  • Managing digital media programs: 3-4 years

  • B2B Marketing experience
  • Hands-on Marketing Automation experience
  • Knowledge of fiber-based data, voice and video products and services
