Our team is part of the Oracle Management Cloud (OMC) organization, determined to automate the work of IT organization related to managing critical applications and computing resources in production. OMC is comprised of a suite of applications and a unified model, all built on a modern cloud architecture utilizing modular and scalable microservices. Our team is developing the next generation Application Performance Management (APM) as a holistic solution that aims to cover all aspects of applications management and quality of service.

Summary:
We are looking for a development leader with a comprehensive industry experience in Microsoft server technologies and a commanding understanding of scalable applications architecture. If you are great at problem solving and have natural deductive reasoning skills you will find plenty of opportunity with us to apply them to high value features. If you are a strong communicator and a willing listener, you will successfully realize opportunities to influence product direction, architecture and development processes in a geographically dispersed team of high skilled engineers. This is a very senior position that will help shape future direction of our product/s with respect to supporting Microsoft server technologies as well as other common applications server platforms.

Candidate must meet the following requirements:
  • Experienced in developing large .NET applications
  • Proven ability to design complex applications for HA, factoring in the required instrumentation for diagnosing functional and performance issues.
  • Familiarity in bytecode injection or AOP
  • Skilled coding and troubleshooting in C and C#
  • Platform versatility: comfortable working in Linux, Java and shell scripting
  • Working knowledge of WCF, ATL, IPC, multi-threading
  • Ability to lead distributed teams either as solid line reports or dotted-line
  • Familiarity in APM products, profilers or systems management is a great advantage
  • A great team player with effective communication skills

Qualifications:
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of software engineering or related experience.
