Fusion Applications & Middleware Management group is part of the System Management Products (SMP) group. SMP group develops products for managing all Oracle products and other enterprise IT resources. The SMP group develops products such as Enterprise Manager Grid Control, Database Control, Fusion Middleware Control etc. SMP is part of Oracle's Server Technology Division. The Fusion Application & Middleware Management group develops products to manage Oracle's Fusion Applications and Middleware suite of products.
The Enterprise Manager has embarked on a new initiative to offer monitoring and analytic services in the cloud. Here is an opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and design patterns like Hadoop, Kafka, Lama, Apache Solr, and micro services to build and deliver best of breed services, be it log analytics, capacity planning, or performance analytic.
You will play a lead role in a rchitecture, design, and implementation of IT Analytic applications like capacity planning, machine data analytic, and performance analytic.
You will start with a problem statement and data. You will be required to do some exploratory analysis where you can leverage your analytical skills and functional expertise. - Hands-on experience developing complex applications with distributed development teams
- Should have worked as a lead architect on one or more projects
- Sound knowledge of machine data learning and algorithms - Hand on experience with big data analytics, data warehouse, Hadoop etc.
- Expertise in Analytics tools, methodology , data modeling
- Experience developing Web based UIs
- Expertise in Java and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
- Middleware expertise is a plus
- Knowledge of R, other analytics tools is a plus
Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 more years of software engineering or related experience.
