Position Responsibilities: • Assist with design, development, and field study of novel mobile Health tools • Monitor for anomalies, potential malfunctions, and adverse events during the field study • Provide support and debugging assistance with technical issues during the field study • Communication of findings and issues to team members and external stakeholders Position Requirements: Degree/Experience/Skills needed The candidate must be a graduate level (M.S. or Ph.D. program) student in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with: • App development and algorithm implementation with Android • Technical experience with sensors, wireless networking, data collection • Familiarity with field deployments of technology Skills and experience in some of the following areas would be a plus: • Experience with mHealth and/or eHealth technology • Signal processing and algorithm development for analysis of rich time series data • Interview methods and qualitative analysis • Knowledge of cognitive and/or age-related impairments Candidate must be able to work within a team environment, should be self-motivated and have the ability to plan and execute tasks independently. Candidate should also be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written.
