Position Responsibilities: Assist with design, development, and field study of novel mobile Health tools Monitor for anomalies, potential malfunctions, and adverse events during the field study Provide support and debugging assistance with technical issues during the field study Communication of findings and issues to team members and external stakeholders What we are looking for: The candidate must be a graduate level (M.S. or Ph.D. program) student in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience with: App development and algorithm implementation with Android Technical experience with sensors, wireless networking, data collection Familiarity with field deployments of technology Candidate must be able to work within a team environment, should be self-motivated and have the ability to plan and execute tasks independently. Candidate should also be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Skills and experience in some of the following areas would be a plus: Experience with mHealth and/or eHealth technology Signal processing and algorithm development for analysis of rich time series data Interview methods and qualitative analysis Knowledge of cognitive and/or age-related impairments
