Provide system modeling and systems engineering expertise to the development of a system model in support of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities for strategic weapon systems.
Apply expertise in architecture and model-based systems engineering to the development of a system architecture using the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
Apply systems engineering expertise focusing on requirements generation, concept development, risk assessments and test & evaluation of emerging systems for strategic deterrent missions.
Deliver formal presentations to sponsors and supporting contractors, and effectively communicate proposed concepts/ solutions and analysis results.
Produce documentation that captures concept definitions, requirements, analysis results, and technical recommendations
Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or related technical field
Five years of relevant work experience in systems engineering.
Three years of experience in system modeling using System Modeling Language (SysML).
Experience developing architecture viewpoints based on DoDAF using the UPDM 2.0 standard.
EXPERIENCE with NoMagic MagicDraw modeling software.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Ability to interact effectively with multidisciplinary teams, government sponsors, and partner organizations.
Graduate degree in systems engineering.
Broad system engineering experience including early concept development, requirements generation, design, test and evaluation, and risk assessment for a complex weapon system.
Relevant OMG certifications.
Special Working Conditions
Travel, working in closed areas, extended hours
Occasional overnight travel to sponsor and contractor facilities in CONUS
