Job Description

  • Tracks and reports supply needs for operation of monitors.
  • Basic EKG arrhythmia interpretation / documentation
  • Demonstrates awareness of and respect for patient/family needs in relation to confidentiality, privacy, security, complaint resolution and spiritual and cultural needs.
  • Responsible for code cart check every shift, eye wash check every week, and medication refrigerator temperature log every shift.
  • Post rhythm strips every eight (8) hours.

Job Qualifications include:

  • High school, GED or higher education required
  • Arrhythmia course
  • BLS required
  • 1-3 years in an acute care setting pref.
