Frankfort Regional Medical Center Radiology Department
We provide patient care for all patient populations including adult, neonatal and pediatric. Our staff covers all of the patient care areas including, general floors, ICUs, including Pediatric ICU, ED, Labor & Delivery and outpatient testing. In addition, to being designated as a Level III trauma center and Magnet® designation for nursing excellence.
Our Radiology department consists of two digital rooms and one fluoroscopy room, two c-arms and two portables in radiology, two 64 slice CT scanners, one 1.5T MRI machine. We are a busy department that is steadily growing.
Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
Graduate of an accredited advanced modality program (preferred)
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
Licensure/Certifications: Kentucky Radiation Operators Certificate
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist ARRT
Advanced Certification in (CT) or (MR) (preferred). Certification in MRI/CT required at hire (preferred) or obtained within 6 months of employment date or end of cross training period
Basic Life Support CPR
Experience: A minimum of one year of X-Ray and advanced modality experience (preferred)
