Job Description:
Under the direction of the Administrative Director and in conjunction with the Medical Director, performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to produce prescribed MRI images, with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Responsible for patient care, comfort and completion of required procedures. Is responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: i.e. Toddler, Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
  • Florida Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification required
  • Current BCLS required
  • Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school
  • 1 year of experience in MRI preferred
  • MRI Certification or to be obtained within 9 months
