Software and system testing of all In-flightEntertainment (IFE) functionality for existing systems.
u00b7 Participate in the design and development ofall IFE system functionality.
u00b7 Participate in all efforts in the testing andregression testing of software phase releases.
u00b7 Assist and support all engineering effortscompany-wide as required.
u00b7 Develop test plans and procedures to validatesystem requirements.
u00b7 Troubleshoot problems reported for allPanasonic Avionics IFE products.
u00b7 Focal for software development, integrationand problem investigation for all assigned equipment and systems.
u00b7 Troubleshoot and analyze root cause of anysystem anomalies/discrepancies in hardware and/or software.
Required Education and Experience:
u00b7 BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Scienceor Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree.
u00b7 3-5 years of experience in software/systemengineering development and/or software/hardware testing.
u00b7 A strong technical background in developmentand test.
u00b7 Solid understanding of MYSQL
u00b7 Solid background and understanding of Unix andLinux OS. Familiarity of systems administrator capabilities and commandlanguage for Linux is required.
More Duties:
The Test Engineer will test hardware andsoftware integration of new and/or existing systems, functions and LineReplaceable Units (LRUs) designed by the Development Engineering and theSoftware Development groups.
u00b7 Integration test of LRU and systemfunctionality.
u00b7 Ensure all testing is properly documented andsubmitted.
u00b7 Coordinate activities for systems development,integration, test, and software/hardware release.
u00b7 Responsible for the integration andmaintenance of a test rack configuration with regards to the systems installation.

u00b7 Uses professional concepts while applyingcompany policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
u00b7 Works on problems of moderate scope whereanalysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
u00b7 Exercises judgment within defined proceduresand practices to determine appropriate action.
u00b7 Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
u00b7 May possess one or more of the following:
u00b7 Ethernet network knowledge with the ability todiagnose problems at the network layer.
