The MetLife Auto & Home Regional Sales Manager works with Independent Agents towards the ultimate goal of becoming a trusted advisor and a strong agency partner across multiple lines of business.  You will be challenged to grow in this role as success is realized and you are able to seize opportunities that will expand your skills and expertise.  Working in an innovative, energetic environment provides an outlet to implement creativity in achieving goals and objectives.



  • Manage relationships with independent and/or sales center agencies
  • Sell concepts, provide solutions and develop strategies for agencies to succeed
  • Achieve assigned goals for Growth (premium/policies), Profitability, Retention/Persistency, and Quality Metrics in lines of business that includes Personal Property & Casualty, Commercial and Life
  • Provide training as needed
  • Utilization of effective collaborative skills to apply within multiple business segments, including but not limited to Underwriting and Product Management.



  • 10 years as an active insurance sales professional with a proven history of success, preferably experienced in Personal and Commercial lines as well as Life.
  • Business/Insurance acumen as it relates to planning at the agency and territory level for both short and long term
  • Communication skills: oral and written with individuals and groups.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Intermediate functionality with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Property & Casualty License required with Life & Health license preferred (can be obtained at a later date).
  • AA degree minimum required, with Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
