Job Overview: The Network Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. The right candidate will ensure reliable network systems and operations, system hardware, operating systems, software systems, storage systems and related procedures. The Network Administrator is responsible for the operation and security of the company's computer network system by analyzing and resolving issues with complex systems consisting of servers, desktop workstations, and mobile devices. The candidate will provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution. This position performs all essential duties in compliance with regulatory requirements as well as Bank policies and procedures. Essential Duties: • Network Administration – Primary administrator over the WAN, LAN, VPN, Wi-Fi and firewall subsystems. • Windows Administration – Primary administrator over the Windows infrastructure and network services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SQL, Print server, File server, Exchange, and SharePoint. • Virtualization Environment – Assist in maintaining a clustered virtual environment using Hyper-V virtualization technologies with the continuation of planning, designing, implementation and support. • Respond to IT support tickets/issues, from simple issues such as hardware replacement to troubleshooting complex development issues across many platforms. • Install and test server software on a variety of platforms (e.g. service packs, application software, operating software, hardware upgrades, etc.). • Assist in developing, implementing, testing and maintaining disaster recovery plans. • Proactively monitor all servers, applications and services using a combination of tools to ensure high availability and SLA's. • Provide user support for all user-based systems; providing assistance to the other IT staff members. • As required, provide day to day operations support and system administration tasks. • Continue documentation of policies and procedures to IT related functions. • Provide all reports and documentation related to systems operations. • Provide emergency on call 24 hour / 7 days a week support (on rotating basis). • Complete all required regulatory training as assigned within deadlines established including BSA, Bank Security and any other training as assigned. • Receive general instructions for new responsibilities from IT Manager. • Additional duties and projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Senior Management
