Seeking a Network Engineer to join our team. The candidate is expected to be responsible for the administration, operation, and maintenance of our customer's networks. This role will provide ongoing support by troubleshooting hardware and software issues. The engineer will also be responsible for developing and deploying new hardware and software solutions to meet the IT needs of our SMB customers. The engineer, along with our sales team, will be responsible for making proactive recommendations on how new IT solutions could positively impact our customer's business. The candidate will act as our clients' representative with partners and vendors, and provide research on a variety of technical support solutions.
*Provide technical expertise and guidance for all issues on our customers' networks; serves as an escalation resource for others as needed.
*Provide remote and on-site network management and support for customers, as assigned.
*Assist with long and short-term planning functions for information technology maintenance, upgrades, purchases and training.
*Recommend new technologies and solutions to proactively support the clients' environment.
*Design, implement, and support new hardware, software, and other solutions to assure the client is leveraging the best technology for their business needs.
*Assess technical risk and mitigation plans.
*Establish and maintain networks, servers, and systems by designing, managing, and troubleshooting, server and network problems.
*Engage with clients about their needs and communicate any concerns to management.
*Maintain a professional appearance and interaction with clients.
*Perform other related duties as required.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: *3-5 years of experience with broad technical knowledge of servers, server operating systems, network design and implementation, PC and software support and general network administration functions.
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
*Completion of any industry certification including MCSE, MSCA, MCTS, MCP, CCNA, Security +, Network +.
*Strong hands-on/practical experience with Windows Server, Office 365, StorageCraft, Active Directory, Firewalls (SonicWALL and Cisco), Terminal Services, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, Virtualization, etc.
*Considerable knowledge of Microsoft Windows driven software, hardware, networks, etc.
*Strong technical and problem solving skills. A good understanding of technical troubleshooting methodology. Ability to facilitate problem solving among customers with varying needs and priorities.
*Ability to assess user needs, in order to develop and implement appropriate solutions.
*Ability to think on your feet in stressful/time sensitive situations.
*Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, communication , and presentation skills.
*Ability to establish and maintain effective personal and consultative relationships with customers and other employees. Overall superb customer service skills.
*Diplomatic, tactful, flexible, resourceful, dependable, well-organized, and professional.
*Excellent time management, and people skills.

*Experience using tickets systems and RMM (remote monitoring and management) tools is a plus.
