The Network Infrastructure Consultant will work as a business advisor to provide timely, high quality client service to our mid-market clientele. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, a strong work ethic, and good client relations.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing pre-sales of HW/SW architecture, design and support
  • Evaluating and assessing client's infrastructure systems
  • Researching infrastructure technologies and attending vendor product update seminars
  • Recommending and implementing infrastructure and data communication systems
  • Developing product specifications for infrastructure designs
  • Presenting infrastructure demonstrations to clients
  • Identifying opportunities for selling network solutions, including infrastructure and data consulting services and systems
  • Establishing rapport and trust with key client decision makers

Basic Qualifications:


  • Windows/Exchange Server
  • Citrix
  • Virtualization technologies, preferably VMWare and HyperV
  • Storage Implementation
  • Strong work ethic
  • 3+ years of IT consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent client skills and customer relationship management skills, with proven ability to build relationships with key decision makers
  • Solid understanding of business and information technology processes
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to provide hands-on technical support
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Great Lakes Region
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with networking technologies including switching, routing, wireless, security solutions
  • Microsoft and other associated certifications
