The Network/Desktop System Specialist works
closely with IT, physicians, management team and staff to provide support and
resources for the IT needs of the oncology practices in the US Oncology
Network. This role is key to the success
of our organization by helping support the technology needs of the business to
ensure that our physicians can provide the highest level of patient care.
general direction, the Network/Desktop System Specialist provides service and
support that is efficient, appropriate, and adheres to the US Oncology
Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

as a Market IT communicator ensuring that seamless communication occurs between

Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.
2+ years experience in desktop and networked systems support; including
LANs and/or WANs
Additional Knowledge & Skills
knowledge and some hands-on experience with the planning, design,
implementation and troubleshooting of networked systems
year’s desktop systems experience.
subject matter knowledge on the full spectrum of IT building blocks including packaged
software applications, software applications development, network, data
centers, end user computing, telephony, mobility solutions, systems
