Current Need
Network System Administrator - AWS Cloud

Location: King of Prussia, PA

Position Description
Concentrates on the overall health of the network & ensuring network connectivity

Responsible for the maintenance of computer hardware & software comprising a computer network, including the deployment, configuration, maintenance & monitoring of network equipment

Proposes & implements system enhancements (software & hardware updates) that will improve the performance & reliability of the system

Supports break/fix issues reported through customer or ticketing system

Manages & implements configurations for servers, switches, routers, etc.

Coordinates & confirms hardware & software orders, cable installations, monitoring, testing, & servicing

Places orders with common carriers

Trains other employees on system

May support managing other products on the network, as applicable

May define, design, and/or implement network communications & solutions

Qualifications



Minimum Requirements
8+ years experience in network systems administration

Critical Skills
Experience working with Windows PowerShell and or AWS CLI for managing environments Experience with Windows networking and Active Directory management.  Any experience working with Cloud HSM, Alert Logic, and Windows Operation Management Suite is a plus  Experience working in a fast paced Agile environment and working independently with limited supervision. This position requires strong documentation, communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills



Additional Knowledge & Skills
Subject matter expertise in wide breadth of knowledge pertaining to all components & processes that make up the network infrastructure

Specialized knowledge of the definition, design, & implementation of network communications & solutions

Knowledge of new technologies & forward looking industry trends

Ability to provide input into system/tool design

Education
4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
