traumatic skeletal injuries; DePuy-Synthes Spine, Inc., develops, manufactures
and markets innovative solutions for a wide range of spinal pathologies.
Codman & Shurtleff, Inc., provides products for the surgical treatment of
neurological and central nervous system disorders through products such as
hydrocephalic shunt valve systems, implantable drug pumps and micro-surgical
instrumentation. DePuy-Synthes Mitek offers innovative devices in sports
medicine for the treatment of soft tissue injuries.
Johnson & Johnson has agreed to sell the Codman Neurosurgery (CNS) business to Integra LifeSciences subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. This transaction is anticipated to close later this year 2017. Please be advised that should you be hired, upon completion of this transition, your employment and the position with Codman Neurosurgery will transfer to Integra LifeSciences.
The responsibility of the Neuro Specialist is to achieve sales objectives established for Codman's implants, new / differentiated products and Neuro base products as directed by the sales management team. The Neuro Implant Specialist will directly sell all Codman products to neurosurgeons, nurses and other health professionals in the hospital departments of surgery, ICU, NICU and materials management as well as other departments.
The Neuro Specialist will meet yearly goals and plans by preparing a territory sales plan which will specify objectives, target accounts, key clinicians, product promotions, and other issues central to achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly goals and objectives. This will include increasing sales and market share through the proper management of strategic alliances, programs / services, national account contracts and other partnerships. In this role, the Neuro Implant Specialist will actively participate as a member of a sales team consisting of other specialists including but not limited to Instrument Specialists, Alliance partners, Distributors, InServe Specialists and others.

To be considered for this role, a
minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required. A minimum of three (3) years of
sales experience is required, although specific Medical Device / Surgical sales
experience is preferred. Surgical Instrumentation sales experience is strongly
preferred. National Account management experience is preferred. Inventory
and Information System experience preferred. A clean, valid driver's license
issued in one of the fifty (50) United States is required. Candidates must
possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to travel
as necessary, which may include overnights and/or weekends is required.
