Basic qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise (>10 years) in successfully managing and driving DMPK optimization within a discovery project setting.
• Thorough understanding of all relevant in vitro DMPK related assays and parameters and their translation into in vivo setting and into the clinic, ideally with focus on CNS indications.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering discovery programs involving all relevant disciplines.
• Experience in DMPK outsourcing.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in PK-PD modeling
• Experience in establishing and driving the translational cascade of projects from target identification into clinics (i.e. biomarkers, target occupancy etc.).
• Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and delivering discovery programs involving all relevant disciplines.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Independent, curious and externally facing individual enjoying to learn about new areas and driving programs in a virtual setting with global CROs and/or academic institutions as well as with support of GSK in-house resources.

Details:
Lead DMPK and translational biology efforts and be an integral member of Neuroscience projects for the Neuro virtual PoC DPU to build the Neuroscience TAU portfolio and to deliver new Neuroscience treatments for patients. The virtual Neuroscience Proof-of-Concept DPU is a team of selected drug hunters driving CNS drug discovery and development in an externally facing way using GSK internal as well as outside academic, biotech or CRO resources.
