SPECIFIC ELEMENTS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS*
*1 Performs routine, sleep, portable, CDS, EMGs and EP studies on adult and pediatric patients according to Policies and Procedures.
*2 Ensures that quality patient care is provided within the defined area of accountability.
*3 Assures all records are available for physicians to read on a daily basis.
*4 Obtains pertinent patient history; including neurological and psychological screening.
5 Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment used in the EEG/EMG/EP lab.
6 Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
7 Submits activity reports as requested.

Required - High School Diploma
Preferred - High School Diploma, Graduate of a recognized EEG school
Required - Six months experience in EEG
Preferred - One year experience in EEG, EMG, and evoked potentials after formal training preferred.
