Growing technology division seeks New Business Development Representatives to work with prospects nationwide in the architecture, engineering and construction industries. Our fast-paced, work environment requires aggressive, results-oriented self-starters who demonstrate enthusiasm for success, eagerness to learn, and ability to communicate effectively and consistently over the phone. Reps will work in a team environment where they are expected to produce results with little supervision. This organization provides an online, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that reduces paperwork and saves money on commercial construction projects. We currently have customers nationwide. Our group is growing rapidly despite today's economy, and we are eagerly seeking high quality individuals to join our team.


- Meet (and exceed!) monthly and quarterly revenue goals
- Build a consistent pipeline of new business
- Prospect, generate and qualify prospects, seek referrals and cold calling
- Identify and connect with potential new customers, and lay the foundation for future sales by calling and interacting with decision makers at targeted organizations
Deliver product demonstrations and discovery calls for prospects, customers and partners
- Record consistent, accurate activity using the company's standardized tracking and reporting tools.
- Consistently achieve a target volume of telephone contacts with prospects (daily/weekly/monthly)
- Maintain industry and product knowledge to effectively and confidently respond to questions
- Increase the quality and volume of opportunities generated (achieving monthly/quarterly opportunity quota)
- Meet organizational standards regarding availability, attendance, and punctuality.


Minimum Qualifications

2 to 5 years of telephone sales or cold calling experience with proven results
Excellent telephone and communication skills
Sales presentation and product demonstration skills (using web-based presentation platforms like WebEx a definite plus).
Ability to quickly learn and apply industry, product, and sales process knowledge
Working knowledge of the Internet and MS-Office software, Oracle CX, or other CRM
Experience selling business software, computer systems or similar solutions, are a definite plus
Must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from our West Des Moines office.
The primary focus of an Inside Sales representative is to sell solutions and services to existing Oracle customers and to prospect for new customers in the assigned territory or vertical.

As an Internet Sales Representative you will sell products and services to an assigned geographic or national account base territory to achieve assigned objectives. Generates sales leads as well as closing the sales on line or by phone. Utilizes inbound and/or outbound calls to pursue sales. Develops account penetration strategies, and closes business . Responsible for understanding Oracle*s product offerings and competitive issues. Identifies new business opportunities by creating and implementing territory campaigns with management assistance. Liaise with customer contacts for the purpose of managing the customer relationship, identifying new opportunities, and selling Oracle products and services. Participates as a team member on sales teams including field sales, support and education sales and sales consulting.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Works under close supervision. Seeks intervention from his/her manager on complex deals that fall outside of existing guidelines. Two or more years of high tech sales experience. Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently. Typically bachelor degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent
