Minimum Years of Experience: 5
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting Master of Science in Taxation, Juris Doctor with Accounting or Tax, or Master of Law in Taxation preferred.Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar.
Certification(s) Required: CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar
Thorough knowledge in several of the following areas: Compliance and consulting for investment partnerships including hedge funds, mutual funds and private equity funds, structuring of funds and fund management companies to best limit tax liability, alternate investment strategies and vehicles, tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international banking industries, public accounting practices, internal domestic banking tax departments or internal foreign banking departments, tax compliance methods, strategy consulting for Real Estate Investment Trusts and Real Estate Partnerships, partnership structures and their impact on real estate transactions and corresponding tax liabilities, and accounting of Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
Comprehensive in several of the following technical skills: Partnership tax Forms, K1 and M1, FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance, providing full services to real estate owners, developers and investors including publicly traded REITS, institutional real estate funds managed by financial institutions and privately held real estate entities.
Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs.
