Riverside Community Hospital was founded in 1901 and is a 373 licensed bed, full-service acute care hospital in the heart of the Inland Empire.
Riverside Community Hospital has been recognized as a Top Performing Hospital and has invested in a new campus expansion project that includes a new 7 story patient tower, 3 story medical office building, and a recently completed 5 level state of the art parking garage. Riverside Community Hospital has the largest Emergency Room and Trauma Center in the Inland Empire. We are also one of Riverside County's only STEMI receiving centers and we are fully accredited Chest Pain Center.
Family Birthplace at Riverside Community Hospital delivers over 87% of the babies in the City of Riverside. More than 3,500 babies are delivered here every year. We have 24/7 OB hospitalist program. We have a brand new dedicated OB PACU and Triage center. Our facility has a Baby Friendly Designation and have full-time lactation available onsite.
The NICU is a 20-bed, Level IIIB referral center. We have over 500 admission to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit each year. We have an active transport team that services area hospitals. Our NICU nurses provide comprehensive professional nursing care to critically ill neonates. The NICU nurses have extensive knowledge and experience and have the skill for concentrated effort and self-motivation to carry out patient care requirements.
This position ensures delivery of evidence-based practice by professional nursing personnel and other staff in designated areas of responsibility. He/She plans, organizes, manages and evaluates the unit's delivery of evidence-based patient care in a cost-effective manner, providing leadership and clinical management to members of the health care team. He/She participates in integration of the Nursing Philosophy along with the mission, vision, values, goals and objectives of Riverside Community Hospital in unit operations.
Licensure/ Certification/ Registration:
1. Valid California RN license.
2. Current BCLS certification.
3. National RN Certification preferred.
1. Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
2. Bachelor of Nursing required or enrolled. Masters Degree preferred
1. Minimum two years in an acute care management position
