A 100 bed-licensed rehabilitation hospital, Spalding specializes in treatment of conditions such as: Stroke, Brain injury, Amputations, Orthopedic injuries, Neurologic conditions and other disabling injuries or medical conditions.
Position Summary: Responsible and accountable for 24 hour a day management and patient care activities of a specified program
Current Colorado Registered Nurse License. Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse eligible (Obtainable within
1year of hire).
. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
C. Experience: Two years of progressive experience in clinical rehabilitative nursing and nursing management required.
Specialized experience/training preferred in diagnosis specific to program: traumatic brain injury, orthopedics, etc.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, basic human resources/personnel management knowledge. Strong
clinical, leadership, and management skills; good interpersonal and interdisciplinary relationships: a high level of
initiative and creative problem solving ability.
III. Degree of Supervision Required:
Minimal supervision: Individual proceeds on his/her own initiative in compliance with policies, procedures and
practices prescribed by immediate supervisor.
IV. Orientation Period:
1 to 3 months
