Position Summary:
Responsible for facilitating a timely; integrated and coordinated approach to the care of patients with heart valve disease. Works closely with referring physicians, cardiac surgeons, and cardiologists to coordinate process improvements, cardiovascular valve registry, and coordinates a patients care plan communication and program. Experience Required or Preferred:
3 years or more in cardiovascular nursing.
Preferred 2 or more years' experience as a nurse educator or program developer, preferably in cardiovascular medicine or surgery. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage.Qualifications: Education Required or Preferred:
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
- RN license in the State of Florida.
- American Heart BLS.
- Cardiovascular Nursing Certification and/or ACCN certification preferred.
