Schedule: 0.8, (32 hours per week), Shift: Days, rotating weekends.
Position Summary: Provides a full range of occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning. Supervises treatment delivered by the COTA, Tech and students. Supervises volunteers. Helps coordinate daily activities of occupational therapy services, participates in program development, quality improvement and problem solving in a flexible team fashion. Documents the delivery of services according to facility and departmental standards.
Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: Certification by the NBCOT following successful completion of the National registry Exam preferred. Licensed in the state of California or licensed eligible. CPR qualified or completes training.
  • Education: BS degree from an AOTA accredited School of Occupational Therapy.
  • Minimum one year experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with the pediatric to geriatric population is preferred. Recent graduate who have applied for the registration examination may be considered for the position.
