Overview:

BAYADA Home Health Care has an opening for Per Diem Certified Occupational Therapists Assistant (COTA) performing visits in Northern Virginia within senior living facilities.  Our Falls Church office services clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties. 

 

BAYADA Senior Living offers a comprehensive continuum of care to its clients, including traditional home care under the Medicare Part A benefit, as well as outpatient therapy services under the Medicare Part B benefit.  The foundation of the program is exceptional clinical care and relationship management as BAYADA clinicians become a true healthcare partner in the senior living communities.  Communities include assisted living, independent living, senior congregate living, 55+ communities, and intermediate care facilities for clients with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities:

Each Occupational Therapists Assistant must:

  • Be licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant by the state of VA.
  • Must be willing to travel in assigned territory.
  • Have graduated from an occupational therapy assistant curriculum accredited jointly by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the AMA and the AOTA, as indicated by school transcript or diploma; or
  • Have two years of appropriate experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977, and

  • Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Occupational Therapist.
