Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Assigned Unit: Acute Units
Position Type: PRN
Work Schedule: 8 hour day shifts. Coverage for weekends and holidays and/or for vacation for full time staff and additional staffing needs due to high census. The more you are available the more you can work but must work 2 shifts per month.
The Occupational Therapist shall be responsible for providing a full range of occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in a team environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
The incumbent shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.
Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: The therapist must hold a current Utah Occupational Therapist license issued by DOPL. Maintains current BLS certification.
Education: The incumbent must have the minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a
program approved by the AOTA (American Occupational Therapy Association).
Experience: Acute and Rehabilitation experience of one year is preferred.
Special Qualifications: National Board Certification for Occupational Therapists. Renew every three years.
