Job description
 Responsible for operating the scale house.
 Schedule loads for shipment.
 Weighs, visually inspects and keeps accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.
 Calculates weights and makes cash payment for purchases of loose waste and some baled waste.
 Balances cash and weights daily and reports information to the plant manager.
 Keeps proper weight records for plant inspections.
 Maintains good working relations with waste suppliers.
 Calls broker/mills.
 Notifies the plant manager or lead person of emergency jobs/repairs.
 Assists with daily/weekly/month end reporting.
 Insures all required files and records are properly maintained.
 Responsible for collecting and analyzing information for preparation of special reports.
 Maintains computerized database of various information.
 Assigns jobs to truck drivers.
 Handles bookings via port and dedicated haulers, reporting information promptly to customers.
 Insures that all work is completed accurately and on time.

 Good communication skills
 Flexibility

 Inquiring mind
 Analytical skills
 Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point
 Internet Basics
 Office Math Skills
 Bi-lingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)

Hours: Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM (Possible overtime to accommodate early/late loads, bookings and month end)
