Description: Position Summary:
Marina Office Clerk maintains Hall's Crossing Marina, which consists of 152 slips and 154 buoys. Our main goal is to provide superior customer service. Our services include scheduling of captains, dockhands, overnight slips, and assistance with any inquiry our customers may have. The office clerk is responsible for completing administration work for the marina. This may include computing data via communication, paper, and/or electronic transfer as per each case scenario. Essential Functions:
Status and Scope:
- Customer service
- Answering phones
- Complete process of work orders
- Overnight slip rental
- VHF radio conversation
- Daily closeout
- Prep for required reports by deadline
- Computer literacy
- Cash handling requests
- Assist Marina Supervisor and Marina Manager with vault audits
- Maintain an organized work station
- Route messages and information
- Know and comply with all company policies and procedures regarding safety, security, emergencies and energy
- Report to work on time and in complete uniform
- Other duties as assigned
Reports to General Manager and Marina Supervisor. Must have superior customer service skills and be computer literate.
Required: -High school diploma/GED
-Be able to speak, read, and write in English
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year clerical experience Equipment Used:
Adding Machine, Photocopier, Calculator, Printer, Telephone, Computer Travel Requirements:
Little or No Travel (>10%) Lifting Requirements:
SEDENTARY - Lifting up to 10 pounds maximum and occasionally lifting and/or carrying small items (files, manuals, binders)
