If you excel at multitasking, communication, organization, and time management, this opportunity with the potential for growth could be for you. In this position, you will prepare financial statements; establish and maintain the accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives of the organization; and handle all other general accounting and bookkeeping functions. The long term temporary-to-fulltime Full Charge Bookkeeper will work in San Francisco, California. Responsibilities: - Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules - Filing documents to maintain historical records - Overseeing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers - Reconciling bank and general ledgers, and processing payroll - Maintaining knowledge of current federal, state, and local legal requirements, ensuring adherence to them, filing reports, and communicating with management on needed actions - Ensuring monthly, quarterly and year end close happens accurately and on time - Executing accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, such as collections - Putting together the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
