Office Web team is looking for a passionate master of web-based technologies, specifically JavaScript (browser-based), C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML/Razor, Less/SCSS, and typescript, with a keen understanding of scale-out technologies. You will be responsible for leading a web development team and governing technical best practices that scale across a global website.
The ideal candidate will be excited about the incredible opportunity to help elevate Office digital marketing experiences and will be passionate about building great teams that deliver high quality websites. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:
•Design of the overall architecture of the web application/modules
•Implementation and adoption of a robust set of REST services and APIs to power the web application
•Building reusable code and libraries for future use
•Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
•Implementation of security and data protection
•Translation of UI/UX wireframes to visual elements
•Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application

Qualifications/Skills:
•5+ years professional development experience, with at least 3 years focused around web application development
•At least 3 years of experience working on a strategic or high volume web site in business-driven web publishing environment (strategy, content and project/personnel management) for diverse audiences
•Proficient knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, Less/SCSS
•Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms (adaptive and responsive), and optimizing output to match the specific platform
•Good understanding of server-side templating languages (Razor)
•Data migration, transformation, and scripting
•Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
•Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
•Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, AngularJS, KnockoutJS
•Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git,VSO)
•Familiarity with development aiding tools (Visual Studio, Code Flow, Style Cop)
