Position: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology - Full Time Days

Professional Registered Nurse with Oncology-specific clinical knowledge who provides individualized care and assistance to patients, families, and caregivers. Utilizing the Nursing process, the ONCOLOGY CNS provides education and resources to facilitate informed decision-making and timely access to care at MountainView Hospital and across the cancer continuum. He or she works between the patient, family, and MountainView Hospital to improve treatment, health outcomes, or end-of-life outcomes.

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing license. Masters Nursing required.

License/Cert: BLS required, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification obtained or eligible required. Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy/biotherapy certification preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of acute care Oncology Nursing experience required. Expertise in blood cancer patient care, and process improvement preferred.
