Hands-on responsibility in building and executing the company's cross-channel marketing campaigns, including direct mail, telemarketing, and email. Primary responsibility of the company's promotions engine, including promotional discount functionality. Overall responsibility for the daily tasks associated with campaigns including target definition and generation, testing, scheduling, deploying, and monitoring such campaigns using customer relationship management application. Assists in various web and direct mail related initiatives as required, including but not limited to content development and deployment, web site audits and usability studies, supports other online initiatives, and list pulls for mailings. Provide data to stakeholders when necessary including campaign response information related to outbound/inbound promotions.
Duties and Responsibilities
Campaigns & Promotions
Work closely with membership marketing globally to define and determine campaign criteria for all renewal and upgrade communications which will be communicated through multiple channels including the company's core B2C web site, call center, telemarketing and direct mail. Manage integration of membership campaigns with promotions engine.
Coordinates the creation, selection, and deployment of company's consumer email campaigns including promotional and trigger campaigns using company application. Provides support for all scheduled outbound communications for email, including selection/creation of target market.
Responsible for build, testing and deploying a variety of global cross-channel promotions, including working with stakeholders to determine opportunities based on system functionality. Manage test segmentation set-up to ensure validity of sample sizes and selection process throughout all promotional communications.
Works with company stakeholders to identify criteria for and execute a variety of mailings, including Location(s) Directory/Travel Planner, magazines, post cards, membership mass mailers.
Works with IT to ensure systems are running properly, including criteria data validation against the source systems, sending mechanism tests when necessary, scheduling promotional offer deployments, and email reporting validation.
Provides company wide support for direct mail list pulls / non membership campaigns. This includes all Loyalty Marketing initiatives, Consumer Marketing mailings, and other company needs.
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent education and experience.
Must possess a Marketing background with business savvy and strong project management skills.
Must have knowledge of content management, site analytics and campaign management applications.
Must possess excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint). In addition familiarity with statistical analysis and query tools such as SAS, SQL a plus.
Must possess a strong understanding of campaign tracking and analysis.
A minimum of 2 years experience in online marketing with experience in creating and executing online campaigns or knowledge of mathematics, optimization, or other quantitative analysis.
Must have demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work in cross-functional teams, and remain flexible in fast paced and changing environment.
Excellent oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Must be detail oriented and possess excellent organizational skills.
