The Online Promotions Sr. Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the Online Promotions Manager and supports the development and implementation of promotions and the onsite marketing of promotions on This position also executes multi-channel campaigns and supports landing page development, tagging and content updates.
The Online Promotions Sr. Specialist is also responsible for participating in promotional planning processes that drive online promotional calendar development for designated categories, programs and/or targeted consumer segments. This role ensures necessary promotional program information is created and collected for appropriate submission of digital intake requests to be created/executed daily on and mobile properties. The Online Promotions Specialists reports against designated goals/objectives and makes recommendations for adjustments to online promotional plans including testing/optimization plans.
To accomplish this, the Online Promotions Sr. Specialist must have knowledge of ecommerce, retail marketing and digital marketing. Further, website testing and targeting experience is desired.
The Online Promotions Sr. Specialist works closely with directly with Online Marketing, Online Category Management teams, Marketing, Merchandising, Pricing & Promotions, and the production teams on
Essential Responsibilities:
Promotions Execution
- Maintains promotions planning calendar
- Ensures all daily intakes for banners and/or pages are complete and accurate for execution
- Create and implement tags on promotions for tracking effectiveness
- Builds catalogs to support promotions and ensures links created as necessary.
- Ensures promotion set up and overrides take place to support omni-channel promotions.
- Gathers appropriate information (images, benefits, etc.) from teams to execute promotional plans
Calendar Development/Management/Reporting
- Assist in quarterly, monthly, and weekly promotional planning activities
- Build out promotional planning calendar for all web banners or designated pages.
- Document final execution for future planning activities
- Report on results of all promotions executed and recommend future adjustments.
Consumer Knowledge
- Must understand the home improvement consumer
- Must understand Lowe's target consumer and customer segmentation strategy

Required Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications and 2 years of experience in marketing/digital marketing/ecommerce, or 5 years experience in digital marketing/ecommerce.
• 1 years of experience required in digital marketing or ecommerce
• 1 years of experience utilizing digital testing & targeting tools and methodologies (e.g. Test & Target, Monetate, Optimizely)
• Knowledge of and experience with Internet based commerce systems, especially effective marketing and sales generation techniques
• 3 years experience in digital marketing/ecommerce
• Experience working with Adobe Marketing Cloud (eg... Adobe Experience Manager (CQ), Test & Target, Site Catalyst)
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA)
Preferred Qualifications:
