Role Description

 

J&J is looking for an OPCx Factory Manager who is skilled in process automation and measurements and passionate about meeting customer needs in the Healthcare industry. The OPCx Factory Manager will be responsible for delivering services on-time and on-budget while meeting target rationalization goals. This person will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and customers to validate application specifications. The Factory Manager of the OPCx Factory team, will be designing and developing processes and tools that the team can adopt to ensure continued optimization of their work in a dynamic, and deadline-driven environment. The OPCx Factory Manager is part of a highly effective, fast-paced team and serves as the interface between our business units, third parties, and factory engineers throughout the rationalization process.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the relationships with global business leads and establishing a clear path for communication, escalation and driving outcomes thru appropriate metrics
  • The ability to uncover business challenges and develop agile incremental approach to solve those challenges working with the Automation and Operations teams.
  • Partner with the OPCx team members on Customer Centric views and ISM (Integrated Service Management) intake.
  • Coordinating with the Project Management Office to report and update decommissioning factory schedule, resources, outcomes and status
  • Working with Risk Management, Archiving, external partners, development and operations teams to continually improve the rationalization process and technical implementations
  • Delivering presentations, technical documentation, and detailed designs. 
  • Performing ad hoc data updates and other follow-on data migration services
  • Providing support for business critical escalations as needed 


Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • A Post Graduate Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing in a complex, global organization is required
  • Previous experience with application architecture is preferred
  • Experience managing relationships with multiple vendors is required
  • Advanced MS Excel experience is a must
  • Previous experience performing data analysis responsibilities
  • ITIL V3 knowledge is required and certification is a plus
  • Prior experience in supporting global operations and following Enterprise level process frameworks
  • Independent judgment and technical problem solving, decision-making strength is required
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills are required
  • Self-starter with strong teamwork abilities and customer service skills is required
  • Weekend and/or after-hours availability for migration support
  • Experience in working in a DevOps or Scrum methodology is preferred
  • This position requires 10% to 20% travel.
