Operations Consultant

Position Overview
This Operations Consultant position supports Coca-Cola Studios, the in-house creative, design, and digital team for The Coca-Cola Company. The successful candidate will have a clear and thorough understanding of all services provided by Coca-Cola Studios and how we deliver value to the Company through high-quality and cost-effective execution.
The Operations Consultant will serve as the liaison to the GBS Finance organization, and will be responsible for owning, at a detailed level, the monthly Actuals, RE, and variance analyses for Coca-Cola Studios. The Consultant will also liaise across CAD, CCNA Finance, and other Finance Centers of Excellence (COE) as needed. The consultant will serve as the liaison to the GBS Controls and Compliance organization to ensure that reporting and variance analyses are submitted timely and are fully supported with appropriate narratives and explanations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project-Level Reporting: Maintain strong partnership and accountability to accurate financial reporting along with Line of Service leaders and project managers within the Coca-Cola Studios team. Utilize strong knowledge of GAAP and impetus toward attention to detail to the accurate reporting of project Actuals and Rolling Estimate.
Project Management Tool: Play a lead role in the implementation of a new Access-based reporting tool supporting the Workfront project management tool. Provide perspective on integration of the tools, reconciliations of data, and reporting improvements.
Accounting Policy SME: Act as an SME with regard to accounting policy (AIC Memoranda) in the areas of accruals, asset/balance sheet management, Procure-to-Pay, and month- and year-end close procedures.
Management Routine: Through effective management routines and reconciliations, synthesize operational and financial data (Actuals). Consistently track and monitor the effectiveness of routines, and implement changes as needed. Lead quarterly internal control processes, shared folder access. Review all MCARS and other billing files on a pre-submission basis for accuracy.
Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to operational and financial processes within Coca-Cola Studios as needed. Utilize Operational Excellence (OE) tools and resources to help drive an overall culture of Operational Excellence (OE) and productivity efficiencies throughout the Coca-Cola Studios organization.
Ad hoc Reporting: Provide written, graphical, or verbal communication of business performance against metrics in order to drive continuous improvement and meet business commitments across Coca-Cola Studios.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or analytical area of study. MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Related Experience: 5+ years of relevant work experience with high attention to detail in an Audit or Financial Reporting role involving RE/BP submissions and variance analysis. Advanced SAP and Excel skillset required. MS Access proficiency preferred. Operational Excellence (OE) certification preferred.
Technical Skills:

Asset Protection: Knowledge of the importance of ensuring the safety and appropriate utilization of all Company assets. This includes the appropriate use of Company trademarks, logos, assets, terminology and data, treating information confidentially, ensuring employee and workplace safety, and having contingency plans.

Consumer Focus :Demonstrating understanding of how one's actions and/or work impacts the Company's relationship with consumers.

Business Etiquette :Ability to communicate with others, via telephone or in person, in a professional and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport. This includes the ability to understand, be diplomatic and tactful, demonstrate appropriate behavior in social situations and maintain composure in negative circumstances in order to achieve results.

Budgetary Knowledge :Ability to gather, interpret, and compare expense data to ensure that budgets are met using knowledge of business and basic financial tools.

Database and System Knowledge :The knowledge and skills required to access and collect data via Company-approved databases or the Internet. This includes the ability to complete electronic forms, produce accurate reports, conduct investigative research, explain data and communicate results. This includes maintaining current knowledge and keeping up with new releases.
