The Operations Manager
is responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional
departments within the distribution center on the night shift.
- Plans, organizes, and directs warehouse and selected
office functions to ensure order fulfillment with 100% customer
- Development of supervisory team
- Leads warehouse employees and supervisors
- Maintains morale and work standards
- Trains and manages performance of supervisors and other
- Assertively seeks solutions at the root level of
- Builds teamwork among DC management team, sales team,
- Ensures warehouse operations comply with federal, state,
local and company policies.
- Controls expenses
- Ensures warehouse and
equipment are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company and FDA
- 7+ years operational experience including 4+ years managerial experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills
skills – coaching and development of supervisors
- Strong communications
skills – open, honest verbal and written communications
- Very thorough knowledge
of Operations Management
- A Bachelor’s degree and experience in operations,
distribution or supply chain management.
- Must be open to flexible hours and overtime as required
based on business needs: Sunday-Thursday with 7-8PM start time
- Follow up and follow
- Experience managing
budgets and expenses
- 4-year degree or equivalent experience
