Adecco Direct Placement is seeking an Operations Technical Support Manager for a national insurance provider. As an operations-focused technical support manager, your primary responsibilities will include Staff Management, Project Support, and Production Support. The manager will supervise personnel and activities to support systems production issue resolution, implementations, and testing to ensure timely and efficient business performance, while ensuring government and association compliance, and accomplishing organizational goals and strategic plans.

Develop and maintain resource models to ensure that resources are utilized appropriately to meet key goals and objectives. Perform team evaluations, generate performance plans and set goals. Hire, motivate, coach counsel, and develop staff and ensure that staff has appropriate tools and training. Perform performance reviews, salary reviews, and salary adjustments. Develop and manage the budget. Mentor other department management team members on department processes, methods, and tools.
Direct and participate in Project planning, implementation and testing phases to ensure that the team's operations and long-range goals are coordinated with other department staff, IT, and clients. Develop and/or assist with the development of Project Requirements Documents (PRD), manage plans for day-to-day changes, corporate initiatives, and other projects. Provide resource estimates, timeframes, guide cost/benefit ROI business cases, and assists with the development of budgets for initiative projects. Oversees corporate processes for systems change management, spanning request submission, review, validation, prioritization, scheduling, and status reporting.
Provide successful resolution of production issues by managing team and/or matrixed resources to ensure effective Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities spanning request analysis, requirements or specifications documentation, acceptance testing, development and maintenance of operating procedures operations support, and implementation impact assessment. Build close working relationships with Business Area and IT Teams to ensure Accountability vs. Responsibility for all tasks are clearly defined.
A minimum 7 years business and systems background
5+ years of management or supervisory experience.
Experience with full software development life-cycle (SDLC) and project management.
Demonstrated ability to budget, organize, and manage teams as well as mentor, develop, and motivate associates.
