Adecco, in partnership with WOODWARD INC, is looking to fill Operations Technician openings on 2nd shift.
The Operations Technician reports to an Operations Supervisor and may be responsible for a number of different job functions within a product line.
Follow appropriate work instructions in order to successfully receive, clean, machine, assemble, join, treat, handle and test parts.
Utilize computer programs, including web based systems, to enter part data, log time, and look up information in order to complete assigned work tasks.
Apply inspection techniques, use inspection tools efficiently, verify the calibration/expiration dates of test equipment and write nonconformance reports (NCR's) when necessary.
Members may be expected to work in any of the functions below:
Machining: Set up, operate, and maintain machines in an industrial setting
Special Processes: Heat treat, braze, and plate
Assembly: Assemble, install, align, adjust, lockwire, and fit subassemblies
and parts or auxiliary equipment using appropriate tools and equipment in an industrial setting
Test: Calibrate and test control fuel samples, maintain and validate test samples
Inspection: Utilize basic inspection equipment to verify hardware conformance to specification and drawing requirements.
Support: Perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, stocking, shipping, washing,
inspecting, buffing and polishing.
Clean and organize immediate work area
Participate in continuous improvement activities
Assist in scheduling work and product flow
Work cooperatively with a positive attitude in a team environment across a variety of departments and shifts
Quality Must meet quality expectations
Overtime Must be able to regularly work overtime with 24 hour notice
The ability to accurately provide the information requested on specific forms, reports, and logs. This includes the ability to see details, generate or transcribe appropriate words, numbers, letters, marks, labels, signs and symbols.
The ability to perform simple arithmetic computations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division correctly, using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages.
The ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and to follow work orders efficiently
Basic mechanical aptitude
The ability to navigate in an online environment to locate documents
Education or Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent required

Moderate physical activity requiring agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending; and lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. Note: Some product lines have heavier lifting requirements due to product type.
Ability to stand for entire shift
Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety
precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear.
May be required to pass Near vision and/or Color vision examinations
