12 - Hour Shift 7pm - 7am
  • Develop detailed operational understanding of all department equipment
  • Operate, perform machine adjustments, and maintain all department equipment
  • Set-up, adjust, and record machine parameters per SOPs
  • In the absence of both the Packing Supervisor will be responsible for record keeping which will consists of data entry, transfer of employees, reporting hours, etc.
  • In the absence of the Production Technician, perform Production Technician back-up duties and assignments
  • Must understand and ensure all SOPs, GMPs, and safety regulations are followed
  • Use blueprints, Specifications, Bill of Materials, and SOPs to ensure product acceptability
  • Document process abnormalities and take corrective actions. Immediately report abnormalities and corrective actions to supervision
  • Must be able to complete all production records and review all batch documentation for correctness/completion
  • Perform departmental responsibilities such as change-overs, line clearances, material movement, TIQ checks, inventory management, etc
  • Communicate effectively with department employees, management, engineering, and maintenance
  • Perform assigned 6S responsibilities. Also, in the absence of the Packing Supervisor and Production Technician, ensure other team members are correctly and timely performing assigned 6S responsibilities
  • Participate and assist in the training of new personnel
  • Attend training programs as required
  • Participate in ongoing review of SOPs and Specs
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and lead projects for continuous improvement
  • Assist with the analysis / trending of performance data such as scrap, rework, downtime, etc
  • Perform relief duties for other personnel when required
  • Must have knowledge of both plant and department environmental, health, and safety regulations and comply with said regulations accordingly
  • Must be able to run Label Machine and assume duties involved in running Label Machine
  • In cases of absenteeism and vacation, must be able to perform the job duties of a material handler
  • Assist stack-off personnel in maintaining a steady flow of bottles on all conveyors
  • Perform other duties within and outside the department as assigned by supervision / management
  • Must perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management

  • High School Diploma required. Additional training and education is a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years Manufacturing or Quality Experience is desired
  • Mechanical aptitude is required. Additional technical experience, training, and education are a plus
  • Be inquisitive in nature and be able to formulate plans to solve problems
  • Possess proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office, AS400, PRMS, QMIS, and Assemble-Pack
  • Willing to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as required
  • Possess good communication skills both oral and written
  • Must be able to read, understand and follow GMPs, SOPs, Specs, Boms, and all guidelines as they relate to the process
  • Have and maintain a low absenteeism record
  • Must have interpersonal and communication skills for routine interaction with plant management and other plant personnel (internal and external)
  • Must be able to drive and pass the forklift certification
  • Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out safety procedures
  • Knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety procedures
  • Ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 pounds repetitively
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to climb cross over ladders
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity Procedure CL-01-01-037
  • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required
