is currently looking for a Surgical (OR) Technician II . Responsibilities:
- Assist the OR team in the care of patients, equipment and supplies.
- The CORT/ORT in department 701 Surgery provides care for pediatric/child patients between 6 months to 11 years of age; adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.
- Completion of Operating Room or Surgical Technician training with evidence of experience in the past three years required.
- Certification preferred.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Applicant must be competent to perform in a minimum of three OR specific areas, one of which must be Neuro, or Cardio/Thoracic. Specific areas are defined as Cardio/Thoracic, ENT, Neuro, Ortho and Vascular.
