Reporting into the Director, Client Solutions, you will be one of the rockstar heroes who makes the Oracle Data Cloud an indispensable part of the day-to-day marketing efforts of the biggest and most innovative brands in the retail space. You will ensure we seamlessly execute client initiatives through the digital ecosystem. The Consultant will lead projects on behalf of the client and coordinate across departments to research and recommend tactics that best meet the client's objectives and the concepts outlined by the Strategist.
The Consultant, Retail Solutions will act as the expert for campaign execution and will be relied upon to partner with Client Partners and Strategists on all campaign aspects. You will work with numerous key decision makers, influencers, and operators at both the brand and their agency partners. We're legitimately excited about the unique assets we have to work with, the vast number of strategies we can create and the opportunity to help retailers think through and solve really interesting challenges.
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT- Manage campaigns through logistical details and keep sales and clients updated on progress. Provide timelines for projects and communicate throughout campaign lifecycle. Act as knowledge base for client's past campaigns, learnings and execution. Support Analytics in development of measurement reports, providing audience insight into client's campaigns.
SALES PARTNERSHIP - Join forces with client leads in representing Oracle Data Cloud products and solutions. Work with sales and clients direct to understand business challenges. Partner with sales teams to provide insight on how campaign strategies can come to fruition. Support creation of IO's and partner on legal logistics to get campaigns through internal processes.
PROPOSAL DEVLEOPMENT - Assist in building proposals, media plans and RFP responses with detail on timelines, pricing, deliverable specifications, and other considerations, while ensuring they are both compelling and easy-to-understand.
INTERNAL LIASONING - Work with a group of colleagues from Solutions Coordinators to Product, Operations, Analytics, and other disciplines, both leading and supporting, to enable strategic recommendations to come to fruition.
SEAMLESS EXECUTION - Own campaign logistics and work with Solutions operations on audience creation and delivery to ensure superior execution and communications between Oracle Data Cloud partnerships and clients. Ensure campaign executes flawlessly from audience creation, media fulfillment to measurement reporting.
DATA CLOUD EXPERTISE - Possess detailed knowledge of Oracle Data Cloud products, services and integrations and how they can be applied to a client's marketing objectives.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: 5 years experience working with advertising agencies, media agencies or digital media providers using data to inform media targeting. Experience with Retail clients and a solid understanding of the challenges and options available to Retail marketers.
DATA EXPERTISE: Strong understanding of data-driven targeting practices and advanced understanding of online advertising techniques.
COMMUNICATION STYLE: Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communications with the ability to make executive level presentations.
MULTI-CHANNEL SAVVY: An understanding of the marketing strategies across various digital (and traditional) channels, and the ability to ideate data and analytics applications across them.
CUSTOMER FOCUS: Focused on the client's goals & perspective and committed to delivering the best service through a "customer first" focus. Works to build client relationships.

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
