Oracle's CRM Cloud Solutions are rapidly becoming the leaders in enterprise level sales, marketing, customer service and social automation solutions. To continue this resurgence of Oracle's CRM leadership, we are looking for a senior level Sales Consultant that is a thought leader and innovator in this new age of CRM. This individual will become a deep product expert with Oracle's latest CRM products, and work with sales representatives to build custom strategies and solutions that address the customer's areas of need in new and existing accounts. This role will support the largest, most complex customers that Oracle works with and will require effective and dynamic communication with all levels of a typical Fortune 500 company. This Sales Consultant will be comfortable working with deals at all stages of the deal lifecycle.
Provides thought leadership and deep product knowledge in applying Oracle's CRM Cloud capabilities to a prospective customer's business needs. Be able to help develop and execute upon sales strategy for selling large and complex deals into enterprise level customers. Possess personal drive to configure and innovate upon core product demonstrations transforming customer demos into dynamic selling events.
As a Senior Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing presales/SC leadership to Oracle's largest and most influential customers and deals. You will be customer focused, and comport yourself to delivering the highest customer satisfaction. You are highly driven and think outside the box as you innovate your product's solution to differentiate with other vendors in the marketplace. You are comfortable in a dynamic, start-up like environment, and are a self-starter that requires minimal supervision on a daily basis. You are comfortable acting as a trusted technical advisor to an enterprise sized customer, and able to articulate complex topics and make them consumable no matter whom the audience is. You are also biased to making those around you successful and are comfortable working as a team player, and a mentor to less tenured people in the organization. Finally, you are a masterful communicator, and are able to present and articulate not only a technical solution, but also the unique value that it brings to the individual customer.
To be successful in the role, ideal candidates will have:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of CRM Sales Consulting experience with a history of top revenue attainment (Salesforce.com, SAP, Microsoft, Siebel is preferred, but not required)
• 3-5 years of Cloud/SAAS application experience is preferred
• 3-5 years of CRM implementation/consulting/proj ect management experience is preferred
• 5 years of relevant enterprise software application experience including database and/or tools
• Basic programming experience in HTML, Java, XML, Groovy and other web based technologies are preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of system and application design
• Experience with building, and delivering complex product demonstrations
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to solve complex technical problems in complex environments
• Experience working in start-up like environments is preferred
• Strong selling and persuasion skills
• Self-motivated, high energy and personal drive
• Ability to travel as needed
• BS degree or equivalent
Amount of travel
Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).
Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
