The Oracle Retail Merchandising Technical Consultant is responsible for consulting on Retail Merchandising System engagements, including implementation, upgrade, and/or extension of existing applications. The consultant is responsible for leading different RMS modules such as Foundation, Purchase Order, Replenishment, Inventory, Stock ledger, and Allocation as well as for assisting clients in the implementation and support. The consultant will provide technical knowledge and manage client relationships within context of individual role.
Candidates should have at least 2 full life cycles with hands-on technical development experience in multiple modules. Candidates should have development experience in v16 Item Induction, PO Induction, RMS integration using RIB, experience with Oracle development tools such as JDeveloper and programming languages such as Java, PLSQL, Pro*C.
Other responsibilities will include: participation in transitions of the customization functional designs from the RICE functional designer, participation in code reviews, participation in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers, documentation of the application to facilitate maintenance, and development skills using Oracle Retail toolset.
