Oracle University Channel Manager
Oracle University is continuing to expand is sales footprint in North America. We currently have an opening for a Channels Sales Manager to work with Oracle's cloud resellers targeting North America Cloud Customers. The role of the Channel Manager will include recruit, enablement, and relationship management for Oracle University's reseller network driving indirect revenue across North America.

Recruit:
Our Channel Manager will identify and develop our channels network of partner's commitment to selling Oracle University products across Oracle Cloud customers. This individual will identify the potential partner landscape in each of Oracle's go to market segments and activity prospect into them to promote a "sell through" model.

Enable:
It is critical that each partner selling Oracle University products has a clear understanding of our go to market strategy and how each new partner will work with Oracle University direct sales organization to maximize our selling efforts. Our Channels Manager will activity evangelize this program to both internal and external Oracle audiences to ensure the value proposition is clearly understood. This role will be responsible to ensure that each partner in our reseller network can articulate our value proposition and has a clear understanding of our products and solutions capabilities on an ongoing basis.

Manage:
This role will partner with Oracle University Education Sales to facilitate joining selling between our channel partners and direct sales organization. The Channels Manager will be expected to manage the "indirect" pipeline and forecast his/her business to the leadership team. The Channels Manager is also expected to augment the sales skills of our partner network to sell Oracle University products when needed.
Qualifications:
Develops third party sales channel and ensures partner achieve Oracle sales targets in the General Business space. Manages a staff of managers within a geographic territory.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage area channel sales throughout the sales cycle. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle*s revenue across all products and product lines with Oracle partners. Responsible for the indirect revenue from these partners. Manages the identification and development of channel partners committed to selling Oracle products. Manage the facilitation of joint selling between channel partners and direct sales team. Maintains an understanding of Oracle technology and articulates Oracle propositions to partners and their customers. Provides accurate and timely management information and revenue forecasts to senior management. May participate in account planning and strategy development.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to channel management. Demonstrated leadership skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of partners in assigned territory. Superior time management skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
