Position Summary:
Pick and pack merchandise in totes or boxes to fill orders for shipment to stores. / / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: / •Key in assignments and ID number. / •Using totes or cardboard boxes proceed down aisle to select and remove merchandise from shelf in accordance with information provided on pick documents or via pick-to-light instructions. / •Affix EAS Tags in correct position on merchandise where applicable. / •Pack merchandise into totes properly, specially wrapping when needed. / •Note information on assignment sheet when merchandise is not available for pulling. / •Must sign onto assignment(s) at the beginning of each shift and properly sign on and off throughout the day. Most importantly, must log off at the end of the work day. / •Snap covers and place tote ties on completed totes and push onto conveyor. / •Discard all cardboard into trash conveyor and trash into trash containers. / •Subject to Engineered Work Standards (minimum of 95%) / / MARGINAL FUNCTIONS: / •Clean and sweep work area. / •Take damaged merchandise to proper location at end of shift.

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
  • Must be certified on all equipment needed to complete job task
  • Ability to work overtime

QUALIFICATIONS: / •Ability to read, write and count accurately. / •Lifting; 20 lbs frequently (34%-66%), 75 lbs occasionally (0%-33%). / •Constant bending/reaching/stooping (67%-100%), constant walking/standing climbing (67%-100%). / •Ability to work in seasonally warm or cool environment. / •Normal vision (natural or corrected). / •Ability to walk up and down stairs to pick on upper levels


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous warehouse experience
